Martina McBride called Lisa & Ray to talk about teaming up with General Mills to help fight cancer.
Following the success of last year’s hit, “I’m Gonna Love You Through It”, Martina continues to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month with “Save Lids To Save Lives”.
Martina says, “It (breast cancer) is something that does unfortunately at some point touch all of us”.
This year, the program has expanded to cover over 20 products including Yoplait Yougart and Honey Nut Cheerios.
While participating in the program, General Mills will track the lids sent in by zip code to ensure that the money will benefit the Susan G. Komen affiliates in our area.
