One in eight women in America will be diagnosed with breast cancer. That’s why a whole month is dedicated to breast cancer awareness. We’re proudly wearing pink throughout October to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and that’s the main focus of the show today.
But there are two sides to the breast cancer coin: obviously it affects the women battling the disease, but it also affects the men in their lives.
Today, we’ll explore both sides of the pendulum. First, we’ll look at the real struggle of living with breast cancer through a new practical and personal a-to-z guide for women living with the disease.
Then, we’ll see how husbands’ and boyfriends’ lives are changed when the woman in each of their lives is suddenly battling for her own life.
And later, how you can get in shape with just– wait for it– TEN spare minutes.
